Fetal long axis left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) view:

• View of the LVOT is obtained via anterior angulation from the starting position of the 4 chamber apical view
• Aorta arises normally from the posterior morphologic left ventricle
• Unobstructed LVOT
• Thin and mobile aortic valve leaflets
• Normally sized ascending aorta
• Normal biventricular systolic function
• Pulsatile aorta anterior and left of the spine
