In the parasternal short axis view, isolated severe mitral reguritation, or echobright left ventricular endocardium and mitral valve papillary muscles should increase your suspicion of this anomaly.

- Notch pointed towards patient's left shoulder
- Probe angled inferiorly (tail up)
- ALCAPA
- Left ventricular dilation and dysfunction
- Echobright mitral valve papillary muscles and chordae
- Mitral regurgitation
