    • Sweep through left ventricle and mitral valve
    • Severely depressed left ventricular systolic function
    • Echobright mitral valve papillary muscles
  • ALCAPA
    • Moderately dilated left ventricle
    • Severely depressed left ventricular systolic function
    • Echobright mitral valve chordae/anterolateral papillary muscle
  • ALCAPA
    • Parasternal short axis sweep from base to apex
    • Moderately dilated left ventricle
    • Severely depressed left ventricular systolic function
    • Echobright mitral valve chordae/papillary muscles consistent with myocardial ischemia

In the parasternal short axis view, isolated severe mitral reguritation, or echobright left ventricular endocardium and mitral valve papillary muscles should increase your suspicion of this anomaly.
