- Left Ventricular Noncompaction
- Prominent trabeculations noted in the left ventricular septum, apex and lateral wall
- Moderate left atrial dilation
- Mildly dilated left ventricle
- Mildly depressed left ventricular systolic function
- Echocardiographic Assessment: Apical 2 chamber
- Assess for left ventricular trabeculations, and segment of left ventricle where the trabeculations are more pronounced.
- Assess left ventricular systolic and diastolic function.
- Modified apical four chamber view
- From four chamber view rotate probe counter clockwise
- Indicator at 1 o'clock
- Transducer at mid clavicular line
- 4th or 5th intercostal space
