Pulmonary Stenosis (PS)

Pulmonary valve stenosis (PS) is a form of congenital heart disease in which the pulmonary valve is dysplastic, thickened and/or tethered causing restriction of stenosis of the flow of blood from the right ventricle to the main and branch pulmonary arteries. This ultimately results in the reduction of flow of blood to the lungs.  There are varying degrees of severity from very mild to severe disease
